Whatnot Rewards Club Enhances Buying-Selling Interaction

Whatnot, an online marketplace, is thrilled to introduce its new Rewards Club, aimed at enriching the buying and selling experience for all platform users. The program, designed for both buyers and sellers, focuses on streamlining transactions, monitoring interactions, and offering engaging rewards and acknowledgments.

**What is Rewards Club?**

The Rewards Club is an achievement-centered loyalty program that benefits sellers by helping them expand their businesses, tracking buyer engagements, and providing rewards. It operates continuously, is simple to join, and fosters stronger connections between buyers and sellers, ultimately driving more purchases.

**Customizable for Sellers**

Recognizing that every seller’s business is unique, the Rewards Club offers flexibility by allowing sellers to tailor the loyalty program to suit their individual communities and business objectives.

**Program Structure**

The Rewards Club comprises five tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. Each tier necessitates a specific number of achievements to unlock, determined by the seller. Achievements could encompass metrics such as the number of shows watched, purchases made, or total amount spent.

**Rewards and Benefits**

Upon unlocking different tiers, members can earn diverse rewards and benefits, including status badges, coupons (dollar-based, percentage-based, free shipping), and access to exclusive tier-specific shows. Participation in the program is automatic upon achieving the set milestones.

**Seasonal Resets**

The Rewards Club programs reset every three months to provide sellers with the opportunity to refine and enhance their offerings. The seasonal schedule is structured as Winter (December-February), Spring (March-May), Summer (June-August), and Fall (September-November).

**Why It’s Customizable**

The program’s adaptability to the varying needs of different sellers allows each individual to set achievement thresholds and select rewards that align best with their business strategies.

**Managing Tiers and Achievements**

Sellers can define tasks for buyers to complete in order to unlock tiers. Programs can commence at any point within a season, and adjustments can be made at the season’s end as necessary.

**Beta Testing and Launch**

The beta testing phase for the Rewards Club runs until August 31, with Season 1 scheduled to kick off on September 1. During beta testing, sellers can modify their tiers and cancel programs by contacting their Account Manager or Whatnot Support.

**Getting Started**

Interested sellers can join the waitlist for early access to edit tiers for Season 1 launch by signing up on the platform.

**Seller Requirements**

To be eligible to participate, sellers must meet specific criteria that include having processed 50 or more non-giveaway orders, earned over $1,000 on Whatnot, operated as a seller for at least 30 days, maintained a seller rating of 4.8 or higher, and not been on a second offense in any violation category.

**For Buyers**

Buyers are automatically enrolled in a seller’s Rewards Club upon making a purchase. Coupons and rewards can be conveniently managed through the Rewards Club overview page, with the caveat that purchases made using coupons are considered final.

**Tracking Achievements**

Achievements are tracked based on the total amount spent, inclusive of taxes and shipping fees. Discounts applied via coupons do not contribute towards spending achievements.

**Privacy and Visibility**

Members have the option to display or conceal their Rewards Badges during live shows, ensuring that privacy preferences are respected.

**Questions and Support**

As the Rewards Club is introduced, Whatnot is committed to providing assistance to its users. Sellers and buyers with queries or requiring support can reach out to the Whatnot support team for guidance.
